Move My Bike is a family-run motorcycle collection and delivery business based at Carlson Suite, Vantage Point Business Village, Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire, GL17 0DD. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.

What we collect
When you use one of our forms, we collect the details you enter:
- Contact forms: your name, email address, what you’re interested in and your message.
- Quick quote: the collection and delivery postcodes, the make, model and year of the motorcycle (and of any part-exchange or return bike), the service you need, your name, email address and phone number.
- Booking form: details of the motorcycle and its condition, the contact name, phone number, email address and address at the collection and delivery points, any accessories travelling with the bike, who is paying and the price you were quoted.
If you give us the details of another person, such as the contact at a collection or delivery address, please make sure they are happy for you to share them with us.
Our form system also records your IP address and browser details with each submission.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To arrange, carry out and invoice your collection and delivery, and to contact you and the collection and delivery contacts about it.
- To keep the records we need for accounting and legal purposes.
- To protect our forms from spam and to understand how our website is used.
Under UK data protection law, we use your information because we need it to give you a quote or carry out a booking you have asked for, because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business and website, and where the law requires us to keep records.
Cookies and other services on this website
This website uses:
- Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location and the device you use.
- Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure when an advert leads to an enquiry or a quote request.
- Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms, to check that a submission comes from a person rather than a bot.
- A reviews widget from REVIEWS.io, which loads our customer reviews from their servers.
- A video player from Vimeo, which loads only when you press play and may set its own cookies.
If you log in to the website (staff only), WordPress also sets cookies to keep you logged in.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers who help us run our website and business: our website host, Microsoft (email), Google, Cloudflare, REVIEWS.io and Vimeo, as described above. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they must protect it to the standard UK law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any period the law requires us to keep business and accounting records.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop using it, or send it to you in a portable format. To make a request, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
